Why turn-based games are perfect for mobile
Turn-based combat and mobile phones were made for each other. Real-time games punish you the moment you look away, but a turn-based fight waits patiently while you answer a message or step off the bus.
This forgiveness lets you play in small pieces without feeling penalized. I've finished entire RPG campaigns two or three battles at a time, which never works with twitch-based genres.
Battery life is another quiet advantage. Games that don't render constant action tend to sip power rather than gulp it, so a long commute won't leave you at ten percent.
If you keep bouncing off action games because your day is choppy, try a turn-based one instead. The genre bends around your schedule instead of demanding you bend around it.
